Baptist Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician III for full-time day shift. The role installs, tests, maintains, and calibrates clinical devices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards. You will perform PMs, troubleshoot using schematics, and mentor BMET I/II to uphold quality and patient safety.

The position emphasizes equipment installation, asset tracking, and adherence to regulatory standards within a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Associates of Applied Science Degree in Electronic Engineering / Biomedical (BMET) / Information Technology.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on hospital equipment through work orders daily.
• Read schematics and service manuals, consult vendors to troubleshoot.
• Assemble, install, and set up limited range of hospital equipment.
• Perform the initial acceptance of new equipment and add assets to database.
• Mentor BMET I and BMET II.
