CommonSpirit Health in Houston is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of vital medical devices. You will inspect, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety. On-call rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, upon hire orTechnical School equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, upon hire or equivalent training validated through training certifications or equivalent experience, upon hire
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment
• Valid Driver's License

Responsabilités

• Performs significant preventative maintenance/safety tests/calibration for equipment.
• Provides equipment repair throughout responsible area.
• Prioritizes work load effectively with minimal supervision.
• Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished.
• Solves organization level customer service issues and complaints with minimal supervision
• Assists in the ordering of part and supplies necessary for servicing of equipment.
