Job summary

Vanguard Resources, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) level II to join the clinical engineering team at Nacogdoches Medical Center – South Campus.

The role covers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment on-site. Expect a typical 8–5 schedule, possible weekend work, on-call rotation, and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on Biomedical Equipment Technician or Clinical Engineering experience
• Healthcare/hospital experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on biomedical equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair medical equipment quickly
• Conduct electrical safety testing and performance verification
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and manufacturer recommendations
• Respond to service requests and on-call rotation
