Qualifications
- High School Graduate is required.
- Associates Degree in Electronics / Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair, calibration, preventive maintenance, inspection, and installation of diagnostic, therapeutic, and physiological monitoring equipment used in direct patient care.
- Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation on equipment inspections, repairs, and failures.
- Provide technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance to clinical staff.
- Schedule and oversee vendor and third-party repairs as necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory and track activation/deactivation of clinical equipment.
