Trinity Health MI in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform PM, safety testing, repairs, calibration, and installation of general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, as assigned by the Clinical Engineering Manager.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, CBET preferred, and the ability to train staff, order parts, and provide on-call coverage after hours. Trinity Health offers day-one benefits and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Electronics or related field; CBET certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronics, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• 1–2 years experience performing maintenance on medical equipment.
• Ability to operate test equipment and train CE associates.

Responsibilities

• Performs PM procedures on multiple types of general and specialized clinical equipment.
• Performs CM procedures including diagnosing problems using various technical disciplines.
• Notifies equipment users and CE Management of repair status and delays as necessary.
• Interacts with clinical staff to resolve operational scheduling issues while minimizing disruption.
• Maintains documentation for PM/CM work orders and complies with policies.
