Qualifications

Minimum AAS in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.
0–3 years of hands-on biomedical engineering experience or related technical field.
Ability to learn basic electrical, electronic, and electromechanical concepts.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections on medical equipment according to training.
Prioritize high‑risk equipment inspections and complete work within timeframes.
Respond to service requests, troubleshoot, and repair equipment within proficiency.
Use electronic test equipment and determine when repairs require component-level work.
Document service requests, inspections, and repairs in the biomedical equipment system.
Inspect new devices for safety, codes compliance, and proper function.
