Job summary

Sodexo seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support MLK Community Healthcare, a 131-bed acute care hospital in Willowbrook, Los Angeles. You will partner with clinical teams to manage medical equipment and support patient care.

In Sodexo’s Healthcare Technology Management program, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain equipment, drive safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED or associate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Management Experience: 0-3 years
• Related Experience: 3-7 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment to ensure reliable patient care across clinical settings.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain compliance.
• Uphold regulatory standards and promote a safety-first environment, supporting audits and remediation efforts.
• Maintain accurate service records, analyze data trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve technical issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance technical skills and overall service quality.

Pay Range: $37.31 - $48.28
