Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician I to support Nebraska On Call Rotation. You will perform hands-on repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of clinical devices, ensuring reliable patient care across settings.

You will document activities, analyze trends, and collaborate with clinical staff to resolve issues, while mentoring teammates and contributing to continuous service improvements. A strong patient-safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Hands-on experience with medical equipment repair, calibration and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Document service activities and analyze data trends for improvements.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve issues and ensure service quality.

Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations.
