Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to perform maintenance on medical equipment at customer sites, ensuring devices are safe and functioning properly for patient care.

You will inspect, calibrate, and repair diverse devices, complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance, and liaise with clinical staff on equipment capabilities. This role requires an associate degree and willingness to travel, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology.
• Equivalent military training or CBET accepted.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record according to company policy.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

The Biomedical Equipment Technician I conducts cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment primarily located at customer sites, to ensure they are functioning properly and meet customers’ needs. What You Will Do in This Role

• Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
