Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. in Hammond, LA is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician I to perform inspection, calibration, maintenance, and repair on a variety of medical devices, including beds, infusion pumps, and monitoring equipment.

You will complete paperwork accurately for billing and regulatory compliance, and communicate device features and operation with clinical staff. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with willingness to work flexible hours and travel as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
• Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours for 24/7 support.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

The Medical Equipment Technician I provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.
