Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a Biomed II Tech for an onsite role at Barnes Jewish Hospital. The position requires 2-5 years of Biomed experience.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs on biomedical instrumentation, ensuring devices meet original specifications.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Biomed Engineering Technology; Biomedical certifications; and strong customer service in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years biomedical experience.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules preventive maintenance and safety inspections; coordinates repairs.
• Repairs and calibrates equipment to manufacturers’ specs.
• Educates staff on equipment operation and safety.
• Troubleshoots to identify problems and implement solutions.
