Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Bio-medical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years related experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment, instrumentation and support systems used in healthcare.
• Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment, including life-support devices.
• Inspect, install, and perform preventive maintenance and inventories of biomedical equipment.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions and monitor maintenance performed by outside vendors.
• Document all service events, tests, and maintenance activities for equipment histories.
• Assist with complex projects and cross-training for additional modalities.
