Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, repair, and calibrate medical equipment at the board/module level under supervision.

You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical safety checks, and QA for regulatory compliance, document work, manage parts inventory, and assist with installations. On-call rotation is required, with opportunities to train junior staff.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Certificate/Associated degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field or 5 years progressive Biomed experience.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and calibrates clinical equipment at a component level with guidance.
• Performs scheduled/preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections per regulatory standards.
• Documents all work and maintains parts inventory and service reports.
• Assists with equipment installations and project work; trains junior technicians as needed.
• Participates in on-call rotation and coordinates service with vendors.

Education

Certificate/Associated degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronic Engineering or related study
