Job summary
CommonSpirit Health through Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET II) to ensure safe and reliable operation of vital medical equipment. You will inspect, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair devices while maintaining detailed service records and supporting clinical staff.

Qualifications
- Associates degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent military/technical training.
- Minimum two years of hands-on servicing experience.
- Ability to read safety/maintenance documentation.
- Valid AZ driver’s license.
- Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance and calibration for equipment.
- Provides equipment repair throughout the assigned area.
- Prioritizes workload effectively with minimal supervision.
- Completes all necessary work orders and maintains service records.
- Assists in ordering parts and supplies for servicing equipment.
- Provides technical support to clinical staff.
