Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment. The role involves electrical safety, performance verification, and service reporting in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or certificate in biomedical/ electronics engineering and 3+ years of related experience, with a preference for 5 years. Full-time, day shift, at the Shea/Sonoran Crossing centers in Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3 years related experience required; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, calibrates, and performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment at the component level.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
• Read schematics, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with vendors or contractors.
• Document all work with service reports and maintain inventory and literature.
• Assist with equipment installations and train junior technicians as needed.
