Job summary

Renovo Solutions is seeking an entry-level Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, inspections, and calibration across clinical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.

The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical patient care devices, installing new equipment, and maintaining accurate service records in RenovoLive CMMS. Candidates should have at least 6 months of hands-on biomedical experience and a technical degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with clinical biomedical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Proficient with electromechanical and computerized biomedical devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical patient care equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and hospital standards.
• Repairs can include: infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, etc.
• Install new equipment and conduct incoming inspections.
• Assist BMET teammates in troubleshooting and major repairs of complex equipment.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, performance assurance, and electrical safety on general biomedical equipment.
• Participate in special projects or upgrades as assigned.
