Job summary

Stryker is offering a Biomedical Engineering internship in the United States. Interns will work on New Product Development and Product Engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate classroom knowledge into real-world medical technologies.

Responsibilities include researching technologies, analyzing customer needs, and driving concepts to production, with access to CAD, FEA, and Test Labs. Eligible students must maintain enrollment and have a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled after internship
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future
• Proven written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate and build relationships
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and goals of future products for New Product Development and Product Engineering
• Research new technologies, customer expectations, requirements, and regulations
• Design concepts and drive products from concept to production
• Utilize CAD/FEA tools and root-cause analysis methods to improve existing products
