Job summary

3D Systems Corporation in Littleton, CO is seeking a full-time entry-level Biomedical Engineer to join the Virtual Surgical Planning department. You will prepare planning files by analyzing medical imaging, simulate procedures, and develop cephalometric analyses.

You will inspect 3D printed patient-specific devices, modify surgical splints, and maintain meticulous data records. This role provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge additive manufacturing in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Biomedical, Mechanical or other relevant technical field is required.
• Experience from projects, internships, or academic work relevant to the role.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning.
• Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine datasets for planning.
• Manage multiple priorities and communicate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain detailed records in the Quality Management System.
• View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest.
• Inspect 3D printed surgical guides for quality and effectiveness.
• Use hand tools to buff, clean, or modify surgical guides.
