Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Advanced Medical Biomechanics Specialist to support advanced care technology and visualization engineering across the enterprise. You will implement biomedical and visualization services, translating research into practice and improving clinical outcomes through 3D printing-enabled prototyping and validation.

The role requires deep anatomy knowledge, radiologic analysis, and experience with regulatory, privacy, and risk management frameworks in healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomechanical, biomedical or closely related discipline.
  • Two years’ hands-on experience in anatomical medical modeling, surgical guides design, diagnostic imaging processing and 3D printing.
  • Experience in medical device development within an advanced visualization program.

Responsibilities

  • Support advanced visualization services execution and continuous improvement of existing service lines.
  • Design, postprocess, and deliver 3D-printed prototypes and visualization products.
  • Implement and validate new design concepts to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure compliance with medical quality management systems and regulatory standards.
