The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Indianapolis is seeking a Biomedical Engineer for Healthcare Technology Management to provide engineering services across a complex program.

Duties include planning, pre-purchase assessment, acquisition support, implementation coordination, equipment management, training, maintenance, project management, and Innovation Program support. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited preferred), and eligibility for GS-12 level

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with medical equipment management and life-cycle planning.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Lifecycle management of medical systems including imaging and life support.
• Coordinate with Engineering, OIT, Patient Safety and other service lines.
• Maintain CMMS documentation in compliance with VA requirements.
• Assist in capital asset planning and procurement with vendors.
