Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Process Development Intern in Maple Grove, MN, to collaborate with R&D and Operations on next-generation medical devices. You will help develop manufacturing processes, starting with design and testing of prototype devices and advancing to process validation.

The role follows a hybrid model with three–four days in the local office and relocation/housing assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Must graduate Fall 2027 – Spring 2028.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have co‑op experience at Boston Scientific.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and content of Process Plans for materials and task sequencing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine manufacturing processes.
• Design, fabricate and test prototype devices addressing clinical feedback.
• Conduct process characterization experiments and Process Validation to determine optimal settings for device manufacturing.
• Investigate and recommend new technology for medical devices.
