Job summary

Innovative Element seeks a software engineer to develop custom software for live-streaming and biomedical data processing, and to visualize complex data in a research setting.

You will manage software licenses (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, JMP, TEMA) and translate project objectives into robust software solutions through system analysis and collaboration with researchers. Experience with MATLAB, Python, TensorFlow, LabVIEW, SQL is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in engineering or CS with relevant experience as specified.
• Demonstrated software development skills and experience with network protocols, OpenGL or DirectX, and interfacing with external devices.
• Experience planning/building/testing/maintenance of data ecosystems.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, TensorFlow, LabVIEW, SQL.
• Strong communication skills and prior work in a research laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom software for live-streaming data, biomedical data processing, data visualization and other applications.
• Manage and maintain software licenses in the lab (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, JMP, TEMA, etc.).
• Perform in-depth system analysis to translate project objectives into software solutions.
• Identify and communicate problems; implement corrective actions to mitigate risk in research projects.
• Contribute to statistical analyses and algorithm development across disciplines.
