University of Pennsylvania, a leading private research university in Philadelphia, seeks a BGS Curriculum Coordinator. The role supports Perelman School of Medicine’s Biomedical Graduate Studies by maintaining curriculum processes, course updates, and non-course training requirements.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff to improve procedures, manage TA assignments, and coordinate scheduling across BGS programs. Strong organizational and systems skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong critical thinking and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and web content software.
• Experience with higher education curriculum programs preferred; Pennant experience preferred.
• A cover letter is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor non-course training requirements, including responsible conduct of research, individual development plans, and externships.
• Oversee scheduling of and support for centrally managed, BGS-wide core courses, including TA appointments, examinations, and evaluations.
• Oversee BGS course evaluations and prepare reports for leadership.
• Organize and staff meetings of the BGS Curriculum Committee and document changes; implement approved changes.
• Maintain up-to-date course information in Pennant, Curriculum Manager, and CourseLeaf systems.
• Assist Curriculum Director and Finance Office with TA assignments and related letters per union contract.
• Coordinate course bookings in PSOM and University spaces with scheduling offices.
• Provide reporting to support curriculum and program needs.
• Manage visiting student documentation for external researchers in PSOM labs.
• Maintain and update curriculum-related websites.
