BJC HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical I for onsite support in the St. Louis region. The role involves performing maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical devices, with travel to clinical sites as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate's degree preferred. This on-site role offers growth within Clinical Engineering and opportunities to contribute to patient safety and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Biomed Eng, or related field preferred.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• Biomedical license/certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for onsite support.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
• Repair and calibrate medical equipment to manufacturers' specifications.
• Analyze symptoms, define problems, compare options, implement solutions and evaluate results.
• Provide in-service education and customer service to staff on equipment operation and safety.
