Med One Group in Draper, UT, is seeking a Biomed Repair Technician. This full-time, day-shift role involves inspecting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining medical devices used in hospitals.

You will troubleshoot equipment, document repairs, and assist with installation and patient-care support. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years’ experience with infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, and hospital beds, plus an Associate’s degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field is required.
• 4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment (pumps, monitors, ventilators, hospital beds).
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and safety documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, and verify medical equipment functionality with measurements.
• Assemble, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment including pumps, monitors, ventilators, beds.
• Diagnose issues and perform efficient repairs meeting safety standards.
• Maintain service records and documentation for repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with installation, setup, and customer troubleshooting at facilities.

Rental Operations- Draper, UT

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Compensation:$25-$35 DOE

Essential Functions

• Test, inspect, and verify the functionality of medical equipment while performing accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements.
• Assemble, clean, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs efficiently while ensuring all equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Complete manufacturer training, certifications, and other recommended courses to maintain technical expertise and competency.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for repairs, inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with the delivery, installation, setup, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities as needed.
• Build professional relationships with hospital staff by providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Interface with hospital systems and other customers as necessary to ensure equipment functionality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with receiving, processing, and preparing medical equipment for inventory and future deployment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company policies and safety procedures.
• Support the Rental Operations team with additional responsibilities as business needs require.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related field required
• 4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, and bariatric beds
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment diagnostics, repair techniques, calibration, and preventative maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation
• Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
• Professional appearance and excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Flexibility to work overtime as business needs require
