The InterMed Group is seeking a full-time Biomedical Equipment Technician II to repair and maintain client biomedical equipment. You will document service activities, coordinate repairs within the department, and work in both shop and clinical environments.

Applicants should have an A.S. degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering (or DOD certification) and at least four years of hands-on experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• A.S. degree from an accredited school in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering, or DOD certification or equivalent experience
• 4+ years’ experience servicing biomedical equipment
• Previous experience with Sigma Pumps preferred
• Strong communications and organizational skills
• Must have good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

Responsabilités

• Inspection, assessment, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment and medical devices per manufacturers’ recommendations as well as established guidelines for use in both a shop and clinical environment
• Responsible for general and various types of medical/patient care equipment, including life saving/support devices
• Complete assigned work orders in a professional and on-time manner
