Job summary

Brooks Run Research Lab at Brooks Running seeks a Master’s graduate intern to assist in biomechanical data collection and processing at our Seattle HQ. You will gain hands-on experience in product research for a leading running brand, supporting motion capture, materials testing, and metabolic testing.

You will develop coding and data‑analysis skills (Python, MATLAB, Visual 3D) and communicate findings through scientific reports and presentations to product teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biomechanics, kinesiology, or related field.
• Commit to six months onsite in Seattle, WA.
• WFH willingness not required; full on-site presence for 6 months.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on biomechanics lab/data collection experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in biomechanical data collection and processing for Run Research.
• Support motion capture, material testing, and metabolic testing processes.
• Write Python/MATLAB code to analyze data.
• Prepare scientific reports and presentations for product teams.
• Mine historical dashboards to identify product improvements.
