Dane Street is expanding our physician panel and seeks experts in biomechanics, injury causation, and forensic analysis to support Texas Counter-Affidavit challenges and expert-witness requests. As a 1099 contractor, you review records or imaging on a flexible schedule and may provide deposition and trial testimony, evaluating CPT codes and usual and customary rates.

Dane Street provides full administrative backing and a secure case management portal.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Medical License required.
• Board Certification required.
• Expertise in biomechanics, injury causation, or collision reconstruction analysis.
• Prior experience with Texas Counter-Affidavit, depositions, and trial testimony preferred.

Responsibilities

• Case Evaluation: Review records and assess tissue tolerance and injury causation.
• Counter-Affidavit Execution: Address clinical questions and fee discrepancies per Texas standards.
• Criteria Reporting: Include medical necessity criteria or biomechanical guidelines with reports.
• Deadline Management: Return cases by due dates.
• Legal Support: Respond to client or court questions; assist with addenda as needed.
