Aspect Biosystems Ltd. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the preparation, formulation, and in-process testing of biomaterials for bioprinted tissue programs.

You will work within the Technical Operations team to maintain quality and supply for preclinical research and manufacturing activities. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a regulated/mfg environment, preferably in biomaterials or biologics.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and aseptic/cleanroom practices.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous organization.
• Curious mindset and ability to adapt in ambiguity.
• Collaborative in cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end biomaterial production, including formulation, compounding, filtration, and aliquoting, under cGMP.
• Prepare and operate manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain batch records and production documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality to onboard new materials and processes.
• Support inventory management and ordering of raw materials.
• Provide materials for in-process quality checks and QC tests.
• Perform filter integrity tests and verify equipment/process integrity.
• Monitor deviations and malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in cleaning, calibration, and routine maintenance.
• Follow aseptic and cleanroom best practices.
• Identify improvements to process efficiency and documentation.
• Ensure safe working environment and hazard assessments.
