Job summary

Aspect Biosystems is seeking a Scientist to join the Quality Control & Analytical Development team in Fremont, CA. You will be a subject matter expert in cell-based analytical methods, supporting development, optimization, and qualification of assays to characterize bioprinted tissue therapeutics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant science with 3+ years in analytical development in biotech/pharma, including cell or gene therapy.
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
• GxP familiarity (GLP/GMP) and regulatory expectations for analytical method development, qualification, validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and optimization of complex bioanalytical methods (ddPCR, qPCR, flow cytometry).
• Perform cell-based assays and ELISAs to ensure accuracy, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
• Design and execute experiments for product characterization and process understanding across materials and drug products.
• Support qualification and validation of analytical methods with data, protocols, and SOPs.
• Record, analyze, interpret, and present data; author reports and SOPs under GxP.
• Troubleshoot analytical method issues and implement corrective actions.
