Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis is seeking an Instructor of Biomanufacturing Skills Training to lead hands-on bioprocessing instruction and guide a structured NIBRT instructor certification pathway.

This full-time faculty role combines training toward credentialing and delivering NIBRT-certified curricula, with responsibility for delivering non-credit classes, maintaining records, and collaborating with industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, or aseptic processing environments.
• Experience delivering technical training or leading operator qualification programs.
• Strong communication skills with ability to teach complex technical concepts to operators on a fundamental level.

Responsibilities

• Complete coursework through the NIBRT online academy, building foundational and advanced knowledge of bioprocessing, upstream and downstream biomanufacturing, and cleanroom/aseptic technique.
• Travel to NIBRT's campus (Dublin, Ireland) for in-person training.
• Deliver NIBRT trainings in partnership with industry collaborators.
