Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Biomanufacturing Technician for a 6-month contract position in Wilsonville, OR. The role focuses on using automated systems for reagent handling, chemistry, and molecular biology workflows to produce DNA-based products, with emphasis on SOP compliance and quality.

The successful candidate will operate lab equipment and robots, adhere to ISO and lean manufacturing practices, document processes, and support manufacturing schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field, or equivalent GMP experience.
• Experience in GMP environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and document processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform molecular and cell biology processes, including PCR and DNA purification, contributing to production of custom DNA-based products.
• Independently operate laboratory equipment and robots while ensuring safety and adherence to ISO and lean manufacturing practices.
• Document processes and update work instructions to support troubleshooting and maintain high attention to detail.
• Contribute to production of high-quality custom products in a high-throughput lab, following SOPs and manufacturing standards.
• Organize shipping of products and maintain consistent work output under minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
