Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation, based in the biotech sector, is seeking a Biomanufacturing Associate I, Production Support for its 100% onsite RTP, NC facility. This role provides hands-on experience supporting GMP manufacturing operations and material handling to meet team objectives.

The ideal candidate will operate bioprocess equipment, monitor inventory, assist scaffold production and recellularization, and help maintain strict GDP documentation and cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Strong GDP adherence and documentation practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate bioprocess equipment per cGMP and policies.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies; manage FIFO.
• Prepare team supplies and run autoclave and wash processes.
• Assist scaffold production and recellularization tasks.
• Schedule maintenance and calibrations; escort vendors.
• Record data in batch records and GDP-compliant docs.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and draft deviation reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
