Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking a Biomanufacturing Associate I, Production Support for its 100% onsite RTP, NC facility. The role supports multiple manufacturing teams, handling materials, equipment and GMP compliance to ensure continuous production flow.

You will gain hands-on experience in biomanufacturing operations, autoclave processes, and GDP documentation, contributing to a critical, patient-focused manufacturing pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotech, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• GDP documentation practices and meticulous record-keeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including 24/7 on-call schedules.
• Proven aseptic technique proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate bioprocess equipment and provide production support per cGMP/OSHA policies.
• Support multiple manufacturing teams to meet department objectives.
• Monitor inventory and prepare supplies with FIFO discipline.
• Record data accurately in batch records and GDP-compliant systems.
• Assist in maintenance and calibration scheduling for instruments.
• Participate in aseptic processing and sterilization workflows.
• Contribute to deviation reports and continuous improvements.
