Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for an Academic Tutor in the Science Learning Lab. This onsite, part-time position (80% FTE) supports students in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology for Health Professions, Biology, and Microbiology, serving both individuals and small groups.

You will work with faculty, help students develop study strategies, and assist with basic technology. Requires a BS in biological sciences and tutoring or related experience; benefits eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biological Science is required.
• One academic year of tutoring/teaching or one year of related biology work experience are required or considered.
• Candidates with advanced degrees (Masters/PhD/MD) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring.
• Help students develop study plans and strategies.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide supplemental instruction both in-person and online.
