Job summary

Alamo Colleges District is seeking an Academic Lab Tech - PAC to support Biology laboratory courses at 1400 W. Villaret Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78224. The role is part-time (19 hours/week), hourly paid, temporary, and not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, ensuring safety, and assisting students and faculty with equipment use and procedures. Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree with relevant coursework and at least one year of related

• Associate's degree in related field with at least twelve hours in major field of study or a combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
• One year of related experience
• Three or more years of related experience
• Licenses or certifications may be required depending on area of assignment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and safety requirements.
• Assists students and faculty with the proper use of equipment and demonstrates procedures and monitors users in the safe and proper operation of equipment.
• This position will primarily support Biology laboratory courses and related activities.
