Alamo Colleges District is seeking an Academic Lab Tech for the Cosmetology lab in San Antonio, TX. This is a part-time, hourly position with 19 hours per week, not eligible for benefits. • Associate degree or a combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
• One year of related experience.
• Two or more years of related experience.
• Must possess a current Operator License in Cosmetology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment and safety requirements in a Cosmetology lab setting.
• Assist students and faculty with the proper use of equipment and demonstrate procedures.
• Monitor users in the safe and proper operation of equipment.
