Qualifications

• Masters in Biology or related field; 18 graduate hours in Biology preferred.
• At least 1 year of paid teaching experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students
• Developing program syllabi, goals and objectives
• Evaluating students' progress toward goals
• Ensuring learning outcomes are attained and recorded
• Requesting and maintaining supplies/equipment
• Maintaining program certification requirements
• Preparing and maintaining required documentation/reports
• Attending staff development trainings
• Ensuring classroom safety and security
• Providing academic advisement to students
• Meeting with students, staff and educators about instructional programs
