Job summary

Baton Rouge Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach Biology courses on a part-time basis. Instructors will be responsible for fostering an inclusive learning environment while adhering to institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Acceptable disciplines include agricultural sciences, biology, genetics, and many more.
• At least 18 hours of relevant graduate coursework in biology or life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Biology courses and support the College's mission.
• Foster a collegial and inclusive learning environment.
• Adhere to institutional policies and report to the Department Chair.

Education

Master's degree in Biology or closely related discipline

Master's or higher in medical or health-related field (e.g., M.D., D.V.M.)

At least 18 graduate semester hours in biological or life sciences
