  • Master’s degree in Biology or Biological Sciences; or master’s degree in related field with 18 graduate-level course hours in Biology/Biological Sciences
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)
  • Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skills
  • Able to respond to community needs

Responsibilities

  • Teaches a full range of biology courses including majors, non-majors, and allied health prerequisites
  • Conferences with students, maintains office hours, and participates in course prep and evaluation
  • Evaluates and grades class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and exams
  • Maintains and submits attendance records, grades and documentation by deadlines
  • Be available to students for coaching
  • Periodic meetings with supervisors or college stakeholders regarding teaching duties
