Adjunct Faculty - Biology

Position Purpose

New England College seeks a part-time faculty member to teach a variety of in-person courses in the undergraduate Biology, Biochemistry, Health Science, and Health Studies programs on our Henniker, NH campus. Instructor needs include, but are not limited to, Human Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, and Microbiology.

• Engage all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes
• Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback
• Coach struggling students toward success
• Provide “experiential learning” opportunities whenever possible

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in related subject area
• Prior teaching and proven record of teaching effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in related field preferred
