Job summary

HireLifeScience's Worthington, Minnesota facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. The Operations Technician will work in a cleanroom environment, perform equipment operations and sterilization processes, and join a team focused on biologics production using fermentation, cell culture, filling, and freeze-drying.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred) and offers weekend work on a rotating schedule with first shift duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with biologics or assembly line work preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom and wear cleanroom garments.
• Wear scrubs in the production area.
• Operate steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machines, and a dry heat oven.
• Prepare and clean equipment.
• Clean and disinfect clean rooms.
• Demonstrate good communication, documentation, and computer skills.
