Job summary

Abzena Ltd is seeking a Materials Control Coordinator II to join its GMP-compliant warehouse team in the United States. You will manage receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and ensure accurate documentation in ERP for material transactions.

The role requires at least 2 years in materials management, familiarity with GMP environments, and strong communication. You will support QA/QC, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in materials management.
• 2+ years of experience with GMP environments
• Ability to read and understand and carry out SOPs and other Quality Process Documentation in English
• Proven ability to provide excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing and biologic environment preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of the ERP system

Responsibilities

• Support and work within the Quality Management System.
• Perform timely and accurate data entry in ERP for material transactions.
• Perform receipt of incoming materials.
• Check materials received against specifications, vendor shipping documents and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Accurately maintain all receiving documentation to comply with internal procedures and SOPs.
• Follow best practices related to systems and processes that support material inventory, purchasing, and material control.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve supplier invoice issues.
• Coordinate with QA and QC for timely testing and release of materials.
• Conduct cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts as needed.
• Pack and stage materials for manufacturing and laboratory support.
• Support accurate client billing and raw material traceability through timely processing of return to stock items.
• Inspect stock for damage/product integrity
• Maintain organization of work areas through 6S.
• Interact with Manufacturing and laboratory departments to reconcile inventory variances.
• Perform packaging and shipping of materials and samples to customers/testing facilities.
• Provide backup support to leadership for client audits.
