Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Scientist/Engineer in Devens, MA, to serve as a process technical expert for large-scale cell culture and single-use manufacturing operations. You will support deviations, CAPA, change controls, and lifecycle activities to sustain GMP compliance and reliable supply of life-changing therapies.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Experience supporting deviation investigations, root-cause analyses, impact assessments, and CAPA development.
• Ability to review process data, identify trends, and summarize findings into technically sound recommendations.
• Exposure to process technology transfer, validation, lifecycle management, or regulatory filing support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for commercial biologics manufacturing operations, including deviation troubleshooting and process performance assessment.
• Support root cause investigations with data review, risk assessments, and CAPA development.
• Prepare inspection-ready documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Provide on-call technical support for 24x7 manufacturing operations.
• Apply cGMP knowledge and company standards to investigations and change controls.
• Contribute to process technology transfer, validation, and lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and meet site priorities.
• Identify risks and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
