Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting defence analytic requirements with scientific or bioengineering research, including microbiology.
• Experience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support.
• Knowledge of biomedical trends and advancements.
• Knowledge of technologies and systems that contribute to diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
• Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high‑level tasks.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Support defense analytic requirements with enhanced scientific and bioengineering research.
• Reverse bioengineering analysis and characterisations, facility and vulnerability assessments, and analytic production on foreign biomedical capabilities.
• Examine medical devices, equipment, and systems using advanced computing, robotics, engineering, and sensors.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and assist with challenges in biomedical engineering.
