Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations by determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and works under the guidance of the Center Physician for medical issues.

  • Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support investigations of pandemic threats.

What you bring to Takeda
  • High school diploma or recognized nursing program with state requirements.
  • Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (EMT-Paramedic).
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
  • Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
  • Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
Benefits

U.S. hourly wage range $24.32 - $33.44, depending on qualifications. U.S. employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time and up to 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires.
