• Review and document serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, coordinating with the Center Physician and emergency facilities.
• Refer unacceptable findings to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine if occupational health evaluation is needed.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator and assist with investigations related to pandemic threats when authorized by EHS.

The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supports the daily operations of a Plasma Donation Center under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

About the Role

This position is responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. Additional duties include supporting vaccination programs, managing employee incidents, and acting as a Pandemic Coordinator when required.

Compensation and Benefits Summary

U.S. hourly wage range: $24.32 - $33.44, adjusted based on qualifications, experience and location.
