Job summary

Code4lib is hiring a Mid-Level Software Developer in Bethesda, MD to support the National Center for Biotechnology Information. In this full-time onsite position, you will develop and maintain the NCBI Taxonomy Information System, collaborating with scientists and other developers. Required qualifications include strong proficiency in C++ and JavaScript, experience in distributed computing environments, and familiarity with relational databases. Qualifications

• 3 years+ of relevant work experience.
• Experience using/developing web services and network APIs.
• Experience with AWS or Google clouds.

Responsibilities

• Learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team.
