Qualifications

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, mathematics, biomathematics, computer science, engineering, or related scientific discipline, or bachelor’s with three years’ statistics experience.
• Experience in software development and database development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with resources and tools for research in genomics, proteomics, imaging, and bioinformatics.
• Experience with programming languages Java, Perl, Python, R; knowledge of biology and statistics.

Responsabilités

• Provide bioinformatics support for faculty and staff in biostatistics and bioinformatics.
• Collaborate with cancer center investigators on genomics, proteomics, imaging studies and data handling.
• Design and develop bioinformatics analysis and visualization software tools.
• Develop computational algorithms for biomedical data using statistics, ML, neural networks, and related methods.
• Perform timely and accurate bioinformatics analysis to aid researchers and maintain shared tools and data sets.
