Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Familiar with publicly available bioinformatics tools, algorithms, and websites.
  • Strong programming skills in R and Python.
  • Experience in bioinformatics software development and research.
  • Experience with NGS data analysis including genome and metagenome analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze microbiome, transcriptome, metabolome, and genomic datasets generated via NGS platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automated bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis.
  • Collaborate with PIs and researchers; prepare technical reports and publications.
  • Coordinate data storage, repositories, and data sharing.
  • Communicate complex results to diverse audiences.
